ABOUT
"A candle loses nothing when it lights another candle."
- Thomas Jefferson -

At Loudoun Wicks, we hand-pour each of our candles with love & attention to detail. They are created in small batches in Loudoun County, Virginia with quality and our customers in mind, every step of the way.
This is reflected in our choice to use only slow-burning, 100% all natural soy wax made from soybeans produced in the USA. With no harmful additives or dyes in our wax, we create clean burning, eco-friendly candles without the toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants found in many commercial candle lines. Our wicks are lead-free/zinc-free natural cotton wicks with paper threads. Our premium fragrance oils do not contain harmful phthalates, carcinogens or toxins.
All these things matter and produce a candle that will add warmth, light, & fragrance to your home in a manner that is safe for your entire family. We appreciate your support of our small business.

Kristi Wick
Kristi (Doolittle) Wick has been a long-time lover of candles but it wasn't until late 2022 when a close friend, who owns a successful candle company in Texas, suggested that she start her own candle company here in Northern Virginia that she even considered taking the leap to start on yet another venture. With the help of her friend she got Loudoun Wicks up and running within one week and started selling her Fall Collection in October of 2022. Since then we have expanded to five collections with a new one currently in the works.
Kristi was very excited to start working with local businesses and wineries to create custom candles and used her graphic design background to create beautiful brands and labels. She still works as a freelance graphic designer with her company doolittle.design and is also a wedding stationer and calligrapher with doolittle.wedding.
March is a very special month for Kristi. As a chronic illness warrior and advocate she hopes to spread awareness about two of the conditions that she has spent her life dealing with. March is the awareness month for both Endometriosis and Multiple Sclerosis and a portion of her candle sales during this month will be donated to the National MS Society and the Endometriosis Foundation of America.
